Help WPHS Help Even More Animals

23 Dec tabby kitten

To all of you who support our shelter and love our animals…we wish you a very happy holiday!  In the past year, we were able to:

  • Find furever homes for 5,454 animals
  • Provide 643 spay/neuter surgeries for pets of low-income residents
  • Confiscate 356 animals from abusive or neglectful situations
  • Save the lives of 971 kittens, 112 cats, 77 puppies, 42 dogs, and 38 bunnies, birds and other assorted creatures through our foster program
  • Hold 244 obedience training classes to help dogs remain in their homes

Of course, we could not have accomplished all these tasks without YOUR support.  Thank you on behalf of the 13,655 animals that came through our doors last year.

If you’d like to help us continue our work in the New Year, please make a contribution to the Western PA Humane Society in any amount.  Our furry (and feathered!) friends would really appreciate it!

We’d also like to thank: Pair Networks for raising over $2,000 for us this holiday season; Del Monte for donating 2,240 cases of canned cat food; Pitt Ohio Express/ECM Transport for donating the transportation of the canned cat food; and Safety Sling for donating space for that food.

It truly is the most wonderful time of the year…
