Pet Food Testing

Are you concerned about what’s in your pet’s food? Are you even sure you know? After the huge recall three years ago, and the numerous smaller recalls lately, I think we have a right to know. This study found toxic levels of heavy metals in random samplings of cat and dog food, and the author outlines some amounts and comparisons.

SpexCertiPrep, a laboratory standards company, just released a poster-type abstract of a soon to be published paper titled “Trace Metal Analysis of Commercial Pet Food for Toxic Metals by ICP and ICP-MS.”
