No Wire Floors for Nursing Mother Dogs in PA

The Department of Agriculture has issued new regulations for commercial kennels which contain a loophole under which birthing and nursing mothers may be kept in enclosures which have 50% wire flooring. Pennsylvania’s new Dog Law clearly states that dogs over 12 weeks of age are NOT to be kept on wire flooring. Please submit comments stating that no dogs, including mother dogs should be on wire floors. Comment here:
